24 HOUR BOARD GAME MARATHON
Cardboard Koinonia In support of Yonge Street Mission

Cardboard Koinonia is holding a 24 hour board game marathon raising support for Yonge Street Mission. Board Games will be played for 24 hours starting Friday night and go straight through until Saturday night. Participants will be fundraising for the event and are encouraged to game as long as they can. There will be a prize for the person that raises the most. The public is also welcome to drop by with donations, and to play games. There will be a loads of games, a raffle for prizes, a big game of Stockticker, a Star Trek: Attack Wing tournament, and more!
Evergreen Drop-in is a program of The Yonge Street Mission, a not-for-profit Christian faith community, that provides compassionate and non-judgemental programs to homeless and street-involved youth between 16 and 24 years of age. Programs offered include Drop-In, where they can have a warm lunch, play some pool or foosball, have some coffee and receive assistance in taking the next step towards getting themselves off the street. Art Programs, Music/Dance, Drama, and Sculpting are also provided to help teens with expression. Evergreen also provides professional counselling, substance use support, legal counsel, and life skills training. The Yonge Street Mission (YSM) will be moving Evergreen Centre to a new location will offer expanded services designed to accommodate the needs of Toronto’s street-involved youth and other vulnerable populations.
